Recent works by four women exhibiting together for the first time.

Each artist works in a very different way, and bringing them together presents exciting contrasts and connections.

Hello friends, and friends of friends
I am having an exhibition of my recent paintings and drawings at Gage Gallery in Kelham Island.
The exhibition will be open from 11-5 on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 October. All welcome, free of charge. Details are on the attached flier.
I would be very grateful it could send it out to friends who might be interested.

I will also be holding a Private View on Friday 12 October, 6.30-9.00pm.
I would be delighted if you could join me to celebrate my first exhibition for a few years. I am really excited to share with you my new work, which has taken me in various new directions. If you can come along, please RSVP so I can make sure we have enough wine glasses!

Here is the facebook event for the exhibition: https://www.facebook.com/events/242876656551292/
Some of my recent works can be found on my website www.philcoleartwork.co.uk,

Still Here

To celebrate the securing of the studios and Gage Gallery for a further 3 years, Kelham Island Arts Collective (KIAC) are having a pop up exhibition of members work, opening Friday 7th September, for one week only.
The past five years have seen KIAC grow from a small group of 5 artists inhabiting the upper floors of a ramshackle factory building next to the Don on the borders of Kelham and Neepsend, to being a not for profit company that provides studios for 25 artists and craftmakers, running a full schedule of arts education classes, and offering a fantastic exhibition space to the South Yorkshire art community. We have deliberately focused on positioning ourselves as a facility for first stage/emerging artists, and are in the process of developing a residency programme aimed at graduating students.
The preview night on Friday 7th September opens at 6.30pm and the gallery remains open until 9.30pm.
‘Still Here’ showcases the work of KIAC studio members, some well known in the region, and others still emerging. Featuring paintings, sculpture, ceramics and textiles the show runs every day 11am – 4pm from Saturday 8th Sept to Friday 14th Sept (weekdays apply at studio doors). Entrance is free.
