New Sculpture Class at KIAC for 2023

Two Sundays of Sculpture

26th February and 5th March 2023

Two days of making a figure in clay working from an excellent life model, with sculptor Andrew Spencer.

Come and enjoy exploring shape, form and structure, making a realistic or abstract sculpture. All levels are welcome.

£120 for the course. A bag of clay is included - extra bags are available to buy if needed. Work can be fired later in a kiln for a small extra cost.  Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Bring a packed lunch or pop over the road to Kelham Kitchen.

The price of £40 for 6 sessions includes the use of stands, boards and simple armatures, and refreshments during the break.  Clay is available to buy for £10 per bag (Premium Craft Crank) or £6 (Buff Stoneware)  - you will need 1 or 2 bags for an average portrait or figure.  If you prefer, you are wecome to bring your own materials.  Firing can be arranged, for a small fee, of finished work that is prepared correctly.
